Terwa joins the KPCV – Knowledge Portal for Structural Safety

Terwa Construction Group has recently become a partner of the KPCV, the Dutch Knowledge Portal for Structural Safety. This platform serves as a central hub for information, guidelines, and recommendations related to structural safety in the construction sector.

What is the KPCV?

While every construction project is unique, most follow similar phases—from design and permit application to actual execution. Each of these phases requires specific actions to safeguard structural safety. The KPCV brings all these control measures together in a clear and accessible way.
The portal was developed through collaboration among stakeholders across the construction chain and is continuously evolving. All information is organized by project phase, making it easy for everyone involved—from designers to contractors—to quickly find the knowledge they need.

Terwa’s role as a partner

As a partner, Terwa actively contributes to the further development of the portal. With over 25 years of experience in (precast) concrete construction, we bring valuable practical expertise to help expand existing topics and introduce new ones. We participate in the partner council, contribute to various working groups, and help shape the content and direction of the platform. In doing so, we support the shared goal of improving structural safety in construction.

Always up to date

The KPCV is the digital successor to the 2011 publication Compendium Approach to Structural Safety. Unlike a static edition, the portal is constantly updated whenever new insights or developments arise. A central core group oversees this process to ensure that all guidelines remain current and clearly structured.
