The construction of Sky Tower in Bucharest
About the project: Rising 37 floors high, SkyTower redefines the skyline of Bucharest. This powerful new landmark introduces a completely new business office concept, being designed to attract corporate tenants.
The TWSK coupler can be used together with the Terwa Patent System couplers, being available for steel reinforcement with diameters ranging from 10 to 40 mm.
Used: 1D Lifting System, Rebar Connection System, Alligator Couplers
For this special project over 70.000 tons of concrete were lifted in the building process of this magnificent skyscraper. Over 2.000 lifting sockets and anchors were used to get the 5.243 pre-casted concrete building blocks to over 200 meters high.
Currently over 150 companies use the 42-story building. Terwa is very proud of being able to contribute in accomplishing this construction masterpiece.
